Thief at Japshow today
Just washed the car down after Japshow at Santa Pod and noticed that my valve caps have been stolen. Are there some people who are so poor that they can't afford their own valve caps?
Anyone else have anything stolen?

At the end of the day it's not the end of the world but why do some people think it is OK to just take other peoples stuff.

I noticed last night that some ****** has taken the metal dust caps off of my Scoob ,how petty is this? they can't be worth anything I wouldn't think , I just hope the toe rag dies a slow painfull death Or ends up in the nick some years down the line getting his rear end battered by 'Mr big'

I have never owned a set of nice caps without them being stolen, more often than not just 2.
No point anymore, ive had so many sets, i've given up. Rather not catch them to be honest, don't know what i'd do!

I believe it is only kids that steal the valve caps, who else would waste their time.
Found out a few weeks ago that my 9 year old nephew is now taking the caps (it has become his latest hobby along with his mates). He doesn't even put them on his bike, but likes the thrill of taking them.
I am going to have words with him this weekend. The thread of never going on a posers cruise again may be enough.

I dont even believe some one desprately poor would steel them for money, or even be at the event! LOL

I've seen lockable ones - a little grub screw that fixes them one. That worth doing? or will the little shi*s just do more damage trying to get them off? Then there's the added inconvenience checking pressures I suppose.

Robbing sh*ts, it used to be a fad when we had RS's at shows. It makes you not bother spending the money on nice caps. Anything to put on the kids bikes! Pikeys.............
