![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I recently bought one of these from ebay as it was very cheap and thought it was worth a try.
What i want to know is what is the correct position for fitting it because ive noticed the people who have them for sale on ebay all seem to have them placed in different positions

bugeye sti's on had the splitter and the intercooler was tilted a bit
![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
yes there are some gains from the splitter and if you fit the tilt kit you get a bit more as well, you get better air flow through the ic thus more cooling and a little more poke

I've done both of these and though I don't see any major benefit I am delighted with the results. A bit more pick up at medium revs which is always nice. No real problems either. Fitted the splitter as far forward as I could to get as much air to the front of the splitter as possible
