Trouble Starting STi MY54

Hi,
Occasionally I've had trouble starting my car up, having to take 2-3 attempts to get it going. It sounds like it's turning but just won't 'fire up'. It's happened to me about half a dozen times now. On a couple of occasions I've had to give it some gas before it would fire. Anyone else had this problem? Anyone know what it is?
Cheers, Toby
P.S. I have the clutch fully depressed every time I start the car

It has been an intermitant "common" problem with some Newage STi's from MY03 on and the occasional MY02
There a three possible Improvements, no single one though seem to fix all. IIRC
1) Sparkplugs Replaced
2) Injectors replaced
2) ECU replaced
IIRC AFAICR IMHO etc etc etc.
Tony
ps now shed loads thats not had Problems some have been in & out of workshops over long periods
Pps Prodrive remap (PPP) changed nothing did not remove or develop the fault after.

I had this a couple of times but i fixed it by waiting for the fuel pump to prime properly.
I found it only did it very first thing when i tried starting the car as soon as I inserted the key. You should be able to hear the fuel pump for a couple of seconds when you turn the key to the second point. Wait for the noise to stop then try starting it.
Hope this helps
