ive got a vlimited ver 2 type RA (so its only blue) its taken alot of stick this year from stone chips, scratches and people generally not giving a toss bout it and knocking it etc.apart from the fact its 9 years old now.
im going to get it resprayed but because its the v ltd blue should i get it done in this colour again or should i do it a 1 off colour making it more unique than out of only 555? im not planning on selling it so if i do do it another colour it wont make it hard to sell. if it was your car what would you do??

IMO, keep the same basic colour, but feel free to choose a different shade/metallic/pearl effect.
If you go for a complete colour change you always be able to tell its old colour from it showing through on the underside of panels, boot floor, engine bay etc - which will looks pants, and would require a complete strip down to bare shell to sort properly, I doubt you want to spend near on £10K on a paint job? Unless you want to cut corners, but if it was me, I'd never be happy with it.
Keeping the same base colour (blue) means that you won't need to change the colour in the boot and under-bonnet areas thus will be cheaper you won't need to strp the car to a bare shell. Also won't need to inform the DVLA, and therefore not show on any Hpi checks done in the future

im not selling it.
If i was going to but a car, i like to see every panel in ORIGINAL condition. It doesn't always have to be original, but it's better, especially if it's a particularly rare car!

If it was a normal impreza then yes for a change, but as its a V-ltd with a specific colour i would keep it the same!, its like changing the colour on a 22B you dont do it!
