Thanks for the responses!!!!!!
I remember that Edward Ramsbottom used to advertise on here as he ran a company which sold them.
Does anyone know what happened??!
Cheers and thanks again,
Jon.

Hello everyone!
I am trying to get together a small emergency pack for my scoob, i.e. fire extinguisher etc and I wanted a multitool.
Does anyone know if any UK companies sell online ?? Discount stores??
Hope someone can help!
Thanks in advance.

I seriously recommend Leatherman. I have the Wave with the tool adaptor, which has loads of screwdriver bits to plug in - very useful.
Probably one of the most expensive, but worth it in my opinion. The lifetime warranty is nice also.

Jon,
Brought Leatherman Supertool about 5 years ago.
After 4 1/2 years blades started to go blunt (lots of DIY use) so sent it back to the importers who replaced all the blades and polished as good as new. All for the amazing price of £0.00.
That is what I call service.
Today added to the collection brought the Wave.
As said before great value from Costco £57 inc vat.

I've brought my Leatherman PST 2 (Pocket Survival Tool) back in December 1997 and it's a superb piece of kit. I looked at the Gerber but choose the Leatherman with the Tool Adapter (another bloody good item). I don't think Gerber had a very big range back then but the multi-tool market has exploded since then.
I feel lost without it on my belt - a windscreen wiper came loose on my old car when it was chucking it down one night. The only tool I had on me was the Leatherman which did the job.
It has caused me a couple of problems in airport security though .
The only pain is sharpening the serrated edge on the knife.
Grant : I seem to remember the Importer being called Whitby or something - do you have their details still?
Anyway, some links for you:
