MY03 WRX PPP versus M5 versus RS4
Every morning i pull on to the M4 and accelerate from 60 to about 100 than back off to 80, this morning just as i was redlining the scooby in 2nd at the top of the slip road out of the corner of my eye screamed past an M5 closely followed by an RS4, you should have heard the V8 of the bimmer, pure music! So i thought to myself, good oportunity to see what the 265bhp PPP is made of against some german uber-barges.
oh dear
i caught them up as they were stuck behind a gimmeroid at 80, once the slower car had moved out of the way the bimmer took off like an F14 flighter with the RS4 and me trying hard to keep up, not a chance in hell! the M5 simply sprinted off to about 140, me and the RS4 simply gave up at 115 with the audi also walking all over my scooby. we both backed off down to 80 and continued our journey safe in the knowledge that M5 beats RS4 beats WRXPPP.

Now I know it's not clever, but it was funny.

Seriously though, I know of a few people who had the same idea, but just couldn't afford the running costs, so sold it within 6 months!

And obviously having the tools at hand, so all service work is done my myself (I bet main dealer costs are £££££££££ ). Just the question of whether the engines blow up as regularly as they do on an Impreza

hmm....400bhp vs 380bhp vs 261bhp......
would have thought the RS4 would have plenty enough poke to stay with the M5 as its lighter...ive seen one positively destroy an M5, although it had been remapped naturally.

Had a play with an my00 M5 in my lightly modded MY99 scoob
Was fun for a while down the lanes but on the d/c he just took off like a scolded cat.
M5's are great cars and i would love to own one.

I was checking some speeds from passing motorists and an M5 went passed my camera at 135mph... Got him.
Followed by an Audi RS4 at 110mph ... got him
followed by a subaru at 109mph, I got him as well
Probably will all get banned for 6 months at least. I love my job
