URGENT: Spec C Required for Evo Magazine feature this Friday
Evo Magazine would like to do a comparison test between the EVO 9 and a fairly new Subaru Spec C on the 15th of July this Friday. They will be picking up the EVO at 9am at Cirencester – and it’s at our use for the whole day. Ideally they would like to have the Subaru at 10am on Friday morning.
We will be based at Kemble airfield which is very near cirencester.
If anyone knows anyone with a Spec C or possibly a JDM spec STI please get them to ring me urgently anytime tonight (I work nights) as they need a definite yes by the morning.

Many thanks

How long will they be needing the Spec C?
Lets us hope, that they put in an actual road test of the cars- with two competent drivers and at least one competent reviewer. Not one of their new guys and a photographer driving the two cars for two or three hours. What ever happened to the proper road tests where several journalists- each with plenty of experience with all the reference cars, went for a two or three days drive to sort it all out. I suppose those tests take up too much time, and are not needed to sell mags. But its still too bad for those who would like to learn in depth about the cars.
Just when you thought the motoring journalists jobs could not get any easier, they do.
