Default WRX Wagon - CATS

How many CATS does a my94 wagon have?

I am led to believe just one, is that correct.

Certainly only one in the downpipe if its a WRX; what appears to be a centre cat is only a resonator. If its a UK car I cant help you though.

Is the resonator very restrictive?, if not i'll just change the back box and
the down pipe, saving a few quid on the centre section.

When i had the downpipe decatted I asked Xtreme about the resonantor and they said don't bother it won't make any noticeable difference. Would be nice to know for sure though. I'm not bothered about extra power but a bit more noise wouldn't hurt
