Does anyone know where I can buy a stone chip cover for the front of a Bugeye WRX.... I saw a car on ebay a while ago with one fitted. I do too many motorway miles, and my previous car was a mess at the front because of this, and I don't want the WRX to go down the similar route.
Can anyone help..??
Thanks in advance.

Saw an advert in TopGear magazine for some film you apply.

Can never figure out why they only go half way up the bonnet with that stuff
even the company which advertises in Evo showing a £300k Carerra GT. Might look OK on the day it's done, but after 6 months of road grime, washing and waxing there's always a pronounced line visible. Just cover the whole bonnet
In fact, why don't the manufacturers do it when the car is made ? It would probably only add £30 to the total cost, and they could offer it as a £300 option.

As frustrating as stone chips are, that is just hidious
It's like the girlfriends mum who has a glorious oak dining table that nobody has ever seen. It sits draped in 3 covers at all times, place mats all over it and when you go to sit at it with a cup of coffee, she runs in with a folded newspaper to go under the placemat, just in case. The table may as well be made of chipboard as we've never seen it
Same with the car. It's built to be driven on roads, and as a consequence will get the odd bit of damage. To hide it under such a monstrosity is just ridiculous. I'd rather have the stone chips resprayed every 2-3 years.
The translucent films on the other hand are a superb solution, and I would definately do it on a new car

The mileage I do, it would need the bonnet resraying every couple of months.... I don't see the point in having a nice car, keeping it well looked after just to have stone chips all over the place, with a few solutions out there, but not to do it, coz they look "hideous".
Cheers for the links and ideas.
