Decided I'd had enough of the Firestorm backbox on my decatted wagon so I put on my old scoobsport...................THANK GOD.!

Can't believe I put it on in the first place, car's running soooooo much smoother and obviously a little bit quieter too.........

May change the centre section for a TSL straight through for a touch more burble.

Anyone else changed back?

I've recently gone from a 3" 5Zigen system, back to a 2.5" straight through center with a Magnex 6X4 back box (had one several back boxes ago!!) so basically my car is now on the system it was remapped with. It does seem to be pulling much better now, and to be quite honest I dont miss the noise.

agree skoosh......went down the exact same route as you mate and ended up with the scoobysport one on my classic. Created a more linear power curve and seemed to run a lot better.

Did miss the noise on some occasions but would not go back. Saying that the prodrive one on my sti8ppp is slightly disappointing so may look at the grpN one or similar.

Bet your neighbours are happy as well......mine had a habit of setting a few car alarms off as I came up the street

 

I just whacked a 5" HKS jobbie on my 02WRX.... Louder than my grannies farts now and I love it!
Sorry neighbours, but think of it as an alarm clock vroom burble burble vroom!
Ya cant beat the scoby noise with the volume turned up to 11 (its louder than 10)
