My MY02 is the first car I've owned that has gone from being to new for an MOT to needing an MOT.
It was registered in June 02. I havent heard anything from the DVLA etc. Am I being really thick - Am I just supposed to know it needs an MOT and take it in somewhere?

Righty ho! Cheers Codie - thanks for that matey!
Well my tax is due at the end of Aug... I guess it may come in the reminder for that - but suppose it would be sensible to pre-empt and get one done next week?

I,ve never had a reminder for an mot.I dont think the dvla issue mot reminders at all.It certainly states whether on not you need one on the tax reminder for taxing purposes.Even with your tax running out in august your car should have been mot'd on or before it was three years old as your running illegal without one.
