WHSmith Drivers Adventure
Has anyone done one of these? the options are...
Ferrari Challenge
Rally Driving
Racing Car Driving Off Road Driving
See here... http://www.whsmith.co.uk/whs/Go.asp?...320&menu=Books
Looks good - a bit pricey £180 - got it as a pressie - may be better take it back and book up a course seperately???
Any recommendations on which to go for - I wouldn't mind any of them
Prefer not to have to travel too far from LANCS though...
Cheers

Have looked at Ferrari days before. Most are sh*te IMO. Your day is only a few hours long with driving a saloon car first. You usually only get 4 or 5 laps in the Ferrari.
I haven't read the link, but would be supprised if you get lots of laps, going as fast as you want.

Bit ungrateful tho as looks like someone's tried 2 find u a pressie they thought u might actually like???
If was me, would probably go, 'tis free after all!
Would probably steer clear of the Ferrari one, prob the least interesting option as I bet u don't get a lot of actual Ferrari time!
Rally one could b fun mebbe?

I've done the Ferarri Day at Croft, and tbh the Ferarri was disappointment - even an old one (328) needs to be driven properly, and you don't enough laps ot get used to it). But the Ginette a fab. 110 mph on the back straight, into a 30 mph wind - no windscreen, and the bonnet's trying to take off.

My mate did a Ferrari one, think it was a 360 possibly ? but in any case he got about 3 or 4 laps and wasnt allowed to take it over 130mph - so not that much of an 'experience' compared to driving your own car really.
The rally one sounds like good fun though - would probably learn lots of stuff you could transfer to your road driving.
