Default Brake upgrade...

Hi guys,

Fairly new hear, so hello to everyone!

Im after a brake upgrade for my impreza. Its a MY95 WRX....

Thinking about fast road pads and a disk upgrade, but whats the biggest size disks i can get, bearing in mind its got 17" rims? And what would be the best ones to get? and also, what sort of price am i looking at?!

Have been considering a Godspeed 4pot conversion, but i dont have any trackdays planned or anything so cant really justify the expense!!

Any help, much appreciated!

You can fit a 330mm kit under there, the godspeed would be best for you tbh or something similar, the braking power of the standard MY95 setup is pretty pathetic really considering.

Yeah, the standard set-up doesnt seem all that great.

Do you mean the 4pot conversion? Or just Godspeed disks?

Am i right in assuming the standard MY95 set-up has just 2pot calipers?

You want a 4pot conversion really, the brembo calipers they do are pretty good if you dont do trackdays, good if you do aswell
I ran a 308mm AP disc/Mintex 1144 pads and brembo caliper setup on my old classic, more than enough stopping power on the road

Tony

PS yes you have the 2 pots at the moment
