As above...very sad but needs must. Iam having to sell my my99 DBM Turbo to raise 9k to put down on a business Iam buying but I dont know what to get to replace.
The business is going to entail me delivering stationery, id cards etc on a daily basis so doesnt have to be a huge Van. Thinking along the lines of an estate or a small van...anyone have any ideas?
Ideally I am looking to spend 3-4k max in the hope I will build the business up and in a year or so time I will be able to get a new improved scoob!!!!
TIA

If you're going for a van it has to be a transit. If you want something smaller then an escort van could be the way to go. I'm not a big Ford lover by any stretch of the imagination but you just can't go wrong with their vans.

I'm not sure about the price range but the Citroen Dispatch is a cracking
van.
Uses the 2.0 HDI engine, goes well and last's for ever when looked after.

belingo are decent vans and they aint to slow either ( just like the good old c15 )
Transit is the way i think mate, sprinters are excellent but more £££ to buy, parts etc
good luck
Have you check the insurance out, van insurance can be £££

If a transit sized van is what you're after you definitely need a pre cdi sprinter (before 2000), falls well into your budget for a good one. Will go for thousands of miles 3-400,000 is possible if well serviced regularly, also parts are not expensive thats a myth mostly cheaper than ford bits HONEST!
Wheelbases are 3, 3.5, 4m plus high or low roof.
