If I hadn't sold my old Classic I would have been in the same boat as you, probably wouldn't have bothered.
Perhaps put the money you would have spent on the warranty to one side, if something breaks you‘ll have the money to hand and won't feel so bad

Seriously,
Don't bother. I have a UK STI7 and am 6 months into what would have been £1200 per annum extension.
£600 in the bank - good dealership - a free service you could say!
As long as the car is standard and you don't do anything daft you are best keeping your money.
At the end of two years you can afford an engine rebuild should you require one...or next week!
The probability is in your favour pal.

Korky
