Such great sales person "IF YOU ARE SERIOUS AND WANT TO BUY THIS CAR PLEASE CALL ME ON THE MOBILE NUMBER PROVIDED. DONT WASTE MY TIME IF YOU ARE BORED AND DONT HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO.

"PLEASE DO NOT BID" - err is that not the point of ebay ? Or its it now just been used by some as cheap advertising ! Ebay should remove items like these !

Nothing wrong with car just over priced IMHO

Richard

Good value for the mods it has, would be good to drag or track as a 2nd car.

yep P1 i couldnt agree more. Ive seen this car in the flesh and can vouch for it n also say that it is worth what hes asking for but at the end of the day no one will pay that. Personally id pay less than what uve even said still being realistic as modifying burns a hole in the owners pocket but doesnt increase the value of the car as much

So you think it is worth what he's asking, but you realise that nobody is going to pay that price. Doesn't that mean that it 'isn't' worth what he's asking???

It is only worth what somebody is willing to pay, and that ain't gonna pay 22k for a 7 year old, modified, impreza import. Even 22b's are struggling to sell for that sort of money.

In actual fact ure wrong. It still is worth what hes asking but how much a car is worth and how much someone is willing to pay doesnt necssarily mean that the car is not worth the asking amount. A mouthful i know but another example is, look at how many P1s a for sale around 14-16k margin, but people are not willing to pay for some strange reason. Does not mean a P1 is not worth 14k

listen mate sort ure words out first as ure not making sense

however from what i think ure trying to say, id like to add that if we went by "a car is WORTH what someone is willing to pay" then cars would be worth jack all. I mean no one wants to pay good money for a car nowadays, they all expect cars for next to nothing. No one is comparing the car to any other, however prices have been compared.

Surely a car's 'value' or 'worth' is dictated by the market of buyers who are willing to purchase the particular car. And, I don't think a P1 is worth 14k. What does it have over an sti of that era? Yes, it is 'offical', but at the end of the day, all impreza's are imports.
Why pay 14 k for a P1 when you can have an sti type r of the same year which is identical, if not better, (dccd etc) for 8 to 10K??

well there u go, uve just fumbled. Ure questioning cars according to ure personal oppinion which my friend means crap all to the rest of us out there. I mean id agree what u say about the differences between the two but regarding price people dont care about the differences between the two, they are more interested in owning a P1. They cant go out and buy a nice Type R and start saying theyve baught a P1, absolutely ridiculous. For someone to own a P1 they have to pay the price which is 14-16 margin. N that is what they are worth regardless of the silly prices people are WANTING to pay

Is it just me or is it the same as a v.ltd but with a different interior? (i.e. roof scoop, sonic blue etc.) And yes, WAY too much money. If it is a v.ltd, even with said mods, i reckon 18.5k tops.

P.S. found a website the other day. It sell sports and performance cars only, has about 100 cars and 5 of them being uk 22b's. One owned by a Mr.Grist. 25k for 3 of them and 28k for his and another. When's the next lotto draw???

People may not want to buy a P1 for other reasons like insurance, perfer imports or even think they are overpriced at 14 grand.
So how can you compare that with a type r that nobody is ever going to pay 22 grand for.
Who is going to pay 22 grand for an 11 grand car. If i was even looking for a type r i'd buy a standard one and save myself 11 thousand pound, which im sure is the same as everyone else would do
