I'm on the verge of buying my first scooby (picking it up MOnday!!) and this is the first turbo, all round, truly amazing car i'm going to have owned.

The only problem is i've been looking on this site and I see references to WRX300'S
STi PPP's
Type R's
etc and I have no idea what the differences are? (I know they are probably more)

so without wanting to sound completely remedial, what are the differences?
I promised myself that now i've finally bought one after drooling over them since they first came out, I want to try and know as much as I possibly can about the variables....

This may have been talked about before and i've tried a search but couldn't
find anything.
