Dont race a Skoda Octavia VRS
In the North Yorkshire area saw 3 in silver with pretty blue lights in grills and a white volvo T5 and a mondeo in silver all unmarked.
All cars were 04 or 05.
Seen all parked up together on a tea break.

Warwickshire Ol Bill have also got a silver one that does a roaring trade in speeding tickets up and down the A435 (Junction 3 M42) between Becketts Farm junction and Alcester.

It's amazing how much NY police spend on cars, given that they're one of the poorest forces in the Met. There was a public outcry last year when it was revealled that the top brass had spent over £0.5m on company cars (as in, non patrol/pursuit) such as Volvo All-roads and Landy Freelanders that will never be used on official duties except the daily commute. They have a WR blue STi8 PPP too, as well as some classics, both stickered and stealth (although these may be retired by now).

Nice of you to point this out to everyone.
It will of course fall on deaf ears. This is a Suabru website and members will race anything and everything as is apparant from the recent posts.

Seen the Blue STi on the Settle by pass going to Kirby Longsdale mainly waiting for bikers and or anything else.
It's a good idea to keep to the speed limit around that area, I've seen loads being pulled.

If you like speed the Dales is a great place to do it, but don't do it on any of the major routes and especially through villages. Stick to the "B" roads and have your fun without fear
