Default Arterburner Vortex Backbox.

Thinking of getting one of these for my 02 STI to release a bit of that flat 4 rumble, had a look on the Scooby world site and they have a load of vids of it, but was wondering if that is bolted on to a full de cat system, as I will only be buying the back box, I was wondering do they sound nice and how loud they are? Also any views to the quality of them would be good, I am not really loking for much improvment in power as I have more than enough already!

Cheers John W

buy one you will not be upset with it, the sound is a lot nicer with one of these on, they are easy to fit, take your old one off, put new one on.

John - I have the Ninja on my Wagon, without a decatted centre and that
sounds fantastic.

The Vortex is even louder i believe.

The Ninja is a little more subdued, but gives a lovely deep rumble on tickover
and howls like a banshee at full chatt.

The Vortex is a little rawer in delivery, but still excellent

You won't use your radio once it's fitted !

I'd definitely go for the Vortex.....even the wife loves the sound of it.
i'll second that. had the ninja on my classic, got the afterburner vortex on my02 STi and love it. surprised me how quiet it is inside the car actually.
can't go wrong with either.

Would a Vortex system be compatible with my 92 Legacy Turbo Estate?

Sorry, I don't know if it would. Perhaps someone may be able to help in one of the technical sections
