Went out for a spin in a 52 plate STi with ppp and boy was it good

It has helped me make my mind up about what car to get now, but the guy told me the newer facelift message is slightly quicker, would this be noticable?

Also I was impressed with the running costs, but the one question i forgot to ask was what sort of price do parts cost? Just general parts like pads oil change etc
