Took some piccy's this afternoon,(Friday 26th) I'm afraid all in WR Blue bar 1.
Bit dissapointed in the wishy washy gold wheels.
And when the engine was started, also dissapointed that the "scooby burble" has gone, certanly sounds smoother!!!
The spec C is the one next to the black one.

looks like David Hendry's garage - the burble has been missing for a few years now whih the JDM models - does anyone know if the uk spec is keep the unequal length headers?

if they are getting the twin scroll im sure they will get the headers too.....

The 260 KPH speedo is going to look odd as a 260 MPH speedo with only the first third being used.

Surely that is so you can say to the copper.
" I got confused by the dials and thought i was doing 70..honest !"

 

 

Apparently, there will be a gizmo thingy that gets plugged into the back of the speedo, and when moving the speedo needle will be at 70 mph not 70 kph.

Ps, the missus says she'll be using the later third of the dial.

like f*!k she will, but its her turn to pick the new car up

 

its only a chip that goes behind the dials and he'll stick some black tape over the k so it'll be mh.

I would suggest you get your car of litchfield because david hendry dont even map their cars to uk fuel.

I like the front...its sort of a cross between an F1 car and a seat ibiza
The rest looks too blingy for me. Sort of a fat is200 **** on it as well.

Awfull looking cars not my cup of tea at all. Will definitely not be buying a new Impreza for the next few years.

Just been to Litchfields...I am now 27k lighter

 

At least theyve got rid of the green lit dials for red ones, shame they took there styling from Seat

 

I want one!!!!!!!!

 

To be honest after seeing them in the flesh I am not overly impresed, but I did like the one at lichfields in white, think they look nails in that colour. the only cool thing I thought about them was the roof vent at the front, very Rally Slag.

I think Subaru got the look right with the blob eye, think they have taken a few steps back with the design on this and been quite lazy with the interior aswell.

 

It may grow on people who know's, I wasn't too sure at first, but know I've seen it in the flesh I'm a bit happier !!!!, I'd better be after putting a deposit down lol

 

I think we'll get used to the new front. It's a bit more distinctive than previous efforts. Not so sure about the rear lights, I've never liked those blinging Lexus lights!

But we're avoiding the biggest question of all unless I've missed that posting. What will we call this one? We've got the 'Classic', the 'Bugeye' and the 'Blobeye'. What about about the 'Sliteye'? Or is this a bit insulting to our oriental chums? Maybe the 'Mono-nostril'?

 

I was quite suprised today after seeing the 06 in the flesh, it looks a lot better than I thought from the pics I had seen previously. I think Subaru 'may' have got away with it and I'm certain it will look even better out on the road. It will definately grow on people IMHO..!
