GUTTED!
After having my side lights stolen whilst my Scoob was in the care of my local Subaru Garage, I decided to fork out and get some new Crystal ones.
After only having them on for 2 weeks, I just noticed that one is cracked!

I had my Crystal headlights and standard sidelights stolen from my car, replaced them with crystal sidelights and headlights, for them to be stolen again, only then to be replaced 3rd time and stolen again. Car then next day was put up for sale and sold as the headlights can get expensive when replacing them every couple of weeks.
Oh and you can remove the sidelights without popping the bonnet, one hard pull of the grille and when thats out the way the headlights and sidelights can be pulled off together. Also check if there is any damage to your headlights where the screw holds the headlight and sidelight together as they can snap the clip which joins them together, and you will find it hard to fix the sidelight to the headlight.

The sidelight doesnt fix to the headlight at all, its held in place by one screw nearest the wing corner and a ball socket behind. The only way as he said is to pop the bonnet to get at the screw, unless of course u jus rip it out n break the lil plastic bracket the screw goes through (not easy).
I reckon Cyrpus's car had the screws removed before it was parked, and then it would be easy to take them out without popping the bonnet.
