I know fuel's not good in a scoob, had on before, just making me with optimax just over £1.15 in my area.

Checked tonight (10:15) and Optimax still 99.9 around Hemel Hempstead, and Tesco 99 RON 96.9. I know there's a difference up and down the country but 15p a litre is outrageous!

Guess it's just a case of can you afford to spend £50-60 when you fill your tank or not.

Exactly.. after watching the news today, the price of all fossil fuels are just going to keep going up for the forseeable future..

I wonder if Train fares have gone up by 35% in the same period?

cant see fuel prices going down anytime soon, particularly with all of the Brexit nonsense. If you want a Subaru, just get one mate because there will never be a good time!

Momentum 99 is V Power.Do you really think that Tesco brew their own 99 octane fuel? Highly unlikely imo.

Nearest Tesco to me is about 14 miles away otherwise would be quite happy to use it all the time.Petrol prices in the town I live in are roughly 5/6p per litre more than the nearest town 10+ miles away. I often fill Gerry cans when I travel to work which works out ok as my Subaru isn’t a daily & it kinda makes mixing the octane booster a little easier.

Doesn't the UK produce most of its own petrol?

Petrol needs regulating as article suggests.

we as in the uk apparently have the cheapest fuel in europe , but the tax man comes along and puts around 75 per cent duty on it so it goes to the most expensive in europe ?!
