Depends which model you buy. I bought a standard MY01 bugeye WRX and even though its times are pretty much the same as the equivalent Classic, it doesn't 'kick' when the turbo cuts in.
I haven't driven a classic but I'm reliable informed that the power delivery is much smoother in the newage scoobs - some people on here prefer the old 'kick', some prefer the smoother delivery.
As I said, depends what you want and what model you buy........
All the same, GREAT feeling when the turbo's at full output and the tarmac's disappearing at a serious rate of knots!
