Angry Scoobynet Invasion - where did all the "Newbie" Tw@ts come from.....

I couldn't believe the amount of idiots who seemed to have suddenly joined scoobynet and posted the utmost crap and inconsidrate comments in many threads - especially those threads where people were offering their condolences & showing respect for the sad death of Michael 'BEEF' Parks in Rally GB today.

First time I've witnessed so many occurences - thankfully the mods reacted & dealt with the majority reasonable quickly.

As a community is there anything we can do to stop these ar$eholes? All these things have probably been debated before but wouldn't genuine scoobynetters both old & new be prepared to pay an annual subscription (yes, I know scoobynet plus people already do) of £5 to £10. It would certainly stop the nuisance element and those folk who register numerous alias names.

TBH, not much else can be done - just let the Mods/Webby get on with it & rise above it.

He's back again in the Michael Park thread in WRGB forum, I've just RTM'd him.

I would say that all of them are a single user, who originally posted as "rmn". We can only hope he gets tired before the mods do.

I registered this morning to see if their were any posts from a friend I made recently at Rally Germany and spent a cracking day with at Walter's Arena on Friday, a big mad Welsh bugger called Daz. I also registered to see what the reaction was amongst the WRC fan fraternity to yesterday's awful accident at Margam Park.
As you'll see by my profile, I'm a newbie & this is my first ever post, so please don't assume that all newbies are inconsiderate toerags. The fact that this forum is free to join makes it accessable to all, and unfortunately a percentage of new members will be complete tools, that's the way life is.

We don't, it's just there seems to be big increase in them. A few bad ones always get in but they're soon found and turfed out.

Agree totally.Everyone was new once.Dont tar everyone with the same brush. One reason why this forum is so successful is that it is interesting and open to everyone. If you dont believe me,have a look at some of the other car forums and look at the dates of the last postings!!!Let the mods do their job and keep the forum open and fresh!!!

Welcome, and sorry if I seemed to be generalising it was just that we seemed to had a real wave of idiots yesterday (or an idiot several times).

A subscription fee is a very good idea.

At the end of the day it cost's to keep a decent site like this running.

If the Webby/mods don't want to spend it on the site then perhaps a
charity of some sort ????

I started a thread last night and had no response from the regulars because
of some dick spoiling it.
