Only joking, might give it a blast, as when my classic was standard with backbox and decat midsection did a 13.7, and I have the same mods on my blobeye, be nice to see how the 2 compare on the strip.
My old classic might be going as well, and is hoping for high 12s, as I never got to run it on the strip when I had all my mods on.

Spoke to the organisers. £12 entry and £15 for unlimited runs. Gates open on Sat night. Track starts 10.30am Sun.
For those that attended the earlier events, there is a points system which includes both Rotorstock days and one event in April. Points = Prizes.
It will be run as a normal RWYB, so no getting knocked off track by the big boys.
Should be fun

I was aiming for 11.9s today. Got 11.99 on my 1st run.
Then came a few more 11.9second runs and I then I thought 11.8s would be nice
Then I put in the following times:
11.87@118.8mph
11.82@116.1mph
11.82@116.8mph
and then:
11.77@117.5mph
11.79@118.8mph
11.79@119.23mph

Well done Bob'5 What power are you running?
I took my Gtir for a spin up the strip today and was more than happy with my 12.43 from 0.9bar (about 255bhp maybe)
Shame about the head wind tho. Not that bad, but every little helps

Cheers guys.
Tas: I was v suprised at beating my old time by so much and with such ease. I have a new mobile number, I'll PM it to you tomorrow. I can take you for a spin so you can hear the gear noise 1st hand if you're @ Japshow?
Carl: 12.43s is v quick, and even more impressive at 255bhp. What terminals was that on?
Webby: Yes. 340/340. Tested just the other day. I'm not up to date on your project?

Carl, what colour was your GTiR, MY 2nd race was against a black GTiR, I was in the Black newage Scooby with the Carbon Fibre spoiler.
Standard 04 WRX(225BHP)
13.93@98.9mph
Kept gettting 13.9, but hope to change all that with a few mods in the next couple of months.

Bob,
It's a bit complicated to compare, but I have had 2 runs at WRC with the last one being 350+bhp/370+lbft during Stage 1 mod testing. Since then (at the rolling road venue I have used for the actual testing, not WRC), those figures at that venue (not the same as the ones at WRC) have gone up, so it would be fair to say that the next run at WRC should also see increases.
Obviously you have the weight benefit, but perhaps the better power delivery (twin scroll and all that) and slightly higher power I have may even things out a tad. Not sure what difference my 6 speeder would have though (as in a negative).
Only one way to find out I suspect..... but I dont think I will bother until I move on to Stage 2 in the immediate future.
Anyways...... like I said, good times.... well done!
Regards,
Shaun.

Thats a fit 340/340 you got there Bob Shaun, I recon you would be at least a full second behind with your spec. But hey, don't take my word for it, go prove me wrong
Nice one Bob
