Default Is it me ?

I'm a bit gutted... This morning driving to work I take a curve to the right, normal thing, I do that every day, normally with a bit higher speed then a normal car would do, but no problems at all. However this morning the road was a bit wet. But really not much. And guess what: I slipped left and right with the front!!!!! it was not a nice experience. Nothing happened, because the slip fortunately was not long in either direction, but it was very surprising.
Are the 215/45/17 tyres so slippery ??? Or is it me ? Or is smth wrong with the geometry ? Or simply just I was too fast on the slightly wet road....

Advice please.

I know the Impreza has a great rep for road holding and handling but the **** that gets spilt onto the roads means you have to be so careful. I'm yet to slide this one but my sport 4wd still, slide a few times!! Ask the bikers.. its getting worse.

I had already oversteer taking curves really excessively fast, and it is great fun. However understeer is not that nice ... I'm thinking I need some better tyres, for wet rod maybe

Take my advise. Ditch the tyres cos there crap. I had the Bridgestone's on mine (05 STI uk) and I hated them, no grip at all. Have changed to Michelin Pilot Sports 2's. Totally transformed the car. I now have loads more grip in both wet and dry. Top tyre
