Faced with 2 identical condition cars.... one with a main dealer history and another with a specialist history...ie scoobyclinic..which would you choose...My 00MY is due its 5yr service at 38k and I fancy it having the Scoobyclinic magic as oposed to another customer at local dealer treatment

It wouldn't make any difference to me, due to scooby clinic's reputation so i'd pay the same eiher way

If anything, a specialist history is preferable. If anyone queries it, ask them if when they visit a main dealer they get to meet the person that works on their car, if they get to see the work being done, if they feel that main dealers look after them properly etc....

I find that people not in the know (i.e. people with lives who don't lurk on scoobynet all day like us ) prefer to see main dealer history. Someone buying their first scooby might think scoobyclinic is rehab centre for disobedient dalmations rather than a subaru garage/tuner

Personally, as mentioned above I'd prefer a car with specialist service history such as scoobyclinic, tsl, xtreme etc as I know that they provide a far superior service to stealers.

As soon as warranty expired on mine, I went the specialist route........in fact, I think I went the specialist route before the warranty lapsed.
