From: Stuck behind that damn tractor or caravan on a B road!
We had to replace our locks this year and the set came from a Daihatsu. I'm not sure if you could get a set from one of these if you didn't want to pay out on a new set from Subaru. Ours came from Grade A breakers. If you give them a call I'm sure that they'd be more than happy to help.
Sorry I can't help with your original question but I've given you an alternative to think about.

dont know if this will help or not..
About a month ago some ******* got access to my keys and when i came back to the car, they had nicked the stereo and other things, but had taken the keys so the car was immobilised. had to get the car recovered back home where i discovered that my second key was not a true second and so had no transponder sleeve (which meant it couldnt talk to the ignition barrel )
So I had to get the car recovered again down to a local garage. They then ordered a new ignition barrel, transponder and full set of new locks. The car had to go on a low loader to a subaru garage where they programmed the transponder as they have the only machine to do this. They did it on the back of the low loader !!
so my experience may mean to you that it calls for a whole system
As i said you may get around some of the problem by replacing some of the parts but may end up replacing the whole system. Your local subaru dealer should be able to help, but beware the overall cost for my work was around £900 !! that is why i did it on insurance (depends on your excesss i suppose)
anyway just my experience, which may or may not be similar to you
good luck

You could phone grade a they should know or try other scooby breakers
But you can get past the immobilizer if you still have a key that fits the locks, but no one is going to post it on a public forum
