51 plate BUT MAKE SURE ITS A UK CAR!!!!!
And knock them down to £8500 .... it is the really ugly one after all (and as from November will be 3 generations older than where we will be then!) and it will be even less desirable!
Get a Classic one and look better ... save yourself £2000 too!!
MY00 are the best of the lot!

Yes the 51 plate is the much better car in my opinion, and that does sound like a good low miles example.
Ignore the silly posts about getting a classic instead of the bug-eye too
.
Edited to add: the fact the 52 plate has an induction kit fitted is also not a particuarly good sign (doesn't say that it's been remapped for it).

i'd go for the younger car, ok its done more miles but its still below the national average.
i'm sure you will spend money on mods so why not get it part done??
have you viewed both cars....?

There's very little you can do with this to make it good looking:-

you either get it or you don't! personally the classic 4 door is a uglier car the lines are all messed up, where i look at the bugeye and i seeit flows better. I looked at classics and blobeye but decided on my import sti as thats were my taste lay. By the way i haven't tried to do anything to the car I DID put a carbon roof fin set on it and carbon wing inserts thats yer lot. Oh yeh and the 392 hp it lays down
