Default Fitting side repeaters

Just bought myself some new side repeaters to ged rid of the orange ones.
They have come with 2 wires per lamp but no connectors.
Can anybody give advise on fitting them.
Can i reuse whatever connectors already exist ?
Do i need to disconect the battery, if so does that effect alarm, sterio etc when reconnected.
Car is MY02 Bug.
Thanks for any advice as i'm a complete novice with all things electrical.
Nik.

You'll use all the existing wiring, just take off the old Orange blobs and connect the clears.

You'll see what i mean when you take off the blobs.

As simple as that mate!!

dead easy mate prise the repeaters off from the back with a screwdriver, using a cloth to stop you scratching paintwork, change bulbs for orange one and put the clear repeaters back on. the fitting just twists off the back. dead easy. save the wires for later when you put them in your reflectors with blue lights
you get those links i showed you?

Do you mean the markers on either side of the headlights?, my clears came with lampholders and a cables and you need to crimp them in line with your indicators on the headlights.

(the bug comes with no lamps behind these markers)

I've did mine recently and it is as easy as described above (and no, you don;t need to disconnect the battery)
