Default Thieving little c*nts

In the sceam of things, a very minor thing, but very annoying.

Got my Gold PFF7 Alloys fitted at the start of August with some very nice shiny metal valves & dust caps. Got to work this morning to find the dust caps have been nicked overnight. Little f*cking c*nts.
The front alloys have'nt been washed for a few weeks so there covered in brake dusk, apart that is from where their little thieving fingers have been. I had my metal dust caps nicked of my Focus RS earlier this year while parked outside my property.
I think it's the paper boy, which makes it more annoying cos I know his dad has a Focus RS with Metal dust caps.

So what do I do now? replace them with more metal dust caps, and hope there not nicked, or go with the horrible black plastic one's. This country's ****, you can't own anything half decent without some b@stard steeling it. What I'd like to do is get up early, and confront little paper boy and give him a kick up the ****, but, then the thief will be the victim, and we all know what happens then................ british justice at its best.

You need CCTV pointing at your car if you want to buy those things and expect them to still be on your car

The Kids dont just nick em for their dads cars. They also fit on their bikes. I had the same problem a few years ago myself. Even went to the black plastic ones and caught a Thieving little Get taking them off one day...

I have had lots of them stolen off of mine, and the girlfriend has had hers done to......her mum caught 3 kids eyeing her car up again yesterday afternoon (still in their school uniforms).

Now i have black wheels and use the black plastic caps, and not one has been stolen yet!!!!

Had some of the locking ones on mine, two middle aged blokes nicked them and as one was obviously being a bit stubborn, they ripped the valve out with something like pliers, scratching off the paint and gouging the alloy around the cap.

Replaced them with 50p black ones, and havent had any trouble since - would rather have to pump my tyres up cos someones let them down than have to trek down to kwik fit to get a new valve put in anyday !

Mine was going off a while back in the works car park and it would not stop - I noticed the interior light was on though when it happened - Obviously meaning one of the door switches thinks its open so next time have a look. It turned out to be the passenger door switch loose - Unplugged it and plugged it back in and so far it has been OK.

I don't bother any more with the ally caps because like you the little buggers
nick them for their bikes.

Infact i caught a little ****** trying to get one off my old beemer, you should of seen his face, i'm not the smallest of guy's !!

Anyway i did'nt get angry or swear at him, just said that if i see him around here again i'll kick his skinny little ***, never seen him since

If you get abusive or slap them, you'll either get the whole family round or your
windows put through.

Got two shiny dust caps with the subaru logo nicked either at the Castle Combe Rally day in August or while it was parked outside the B&B in Chippenham after the event.

Tend to think it was more likely outside the B&B and as only 2 went it was probably for a feckin bike!!!!

i had the richbrook 'anti theft' caps on a few months back.

they got pinched in asda carpark, no damage done, so some little b/stard must have hold of a little allen key to get them off.

just have the black plastic ones now.

I'm all for modding my car, but can't ever ever imagine wanting shiny valve caps. Bloody asking for trouble as they will fit any BMX as well. The plain black plastic variety do for me at 99p for 6. I know I could get an extra 20 bhp with alloy ones, but I'm just too tight.

I agree that they do not look good. In fact, I don't like them at all.

Its not the point though. You should be able to buy what you want without some ***** stealing it from you

You will just have to put up with black ones. Even if you totally secure your car, they will just get nicked when you go to the supermarket, or wherever else you park your car

It's simply, if they want them they'll have them, the harder you try to stop them the harder they will try to get them off, as one of the above states a few scratches and a chunk out of the wheel?

Furking dust caps? Christ. Get a bleeding life. How long is it since the last thread on this? OF COURSE THEY'RE GOING TO GET NICKED.

God give me strength.

Like I said at the start " In the sceam of things a very minor thing". I'm not saying its the crime of the century, but these things are very, very annoying, as all the following posts testify.
Good on you that you don't mind kids steeling things off your car, but remember these little c*nts steal dust caps today, but tommorow (not literaly) they'll steal your car. Suppose you won't mind that either????

Oh yes, just write a list of evey topic you've comented on, and the rest of us will endevour not to bring up those subjects again.

When they do around £60 worth of damage to your wheel trying to get the cap off ( gouged alloy, scraped paint, torn out valve ) then dont come on here and moan to us about it !

I've never bought these little shiney things but have had two sets of wheels arrive with them on. Both nicked - first time I was really pissed off, second time I shook my head and laughed. Now got a set of plasic jobbies which'll do fine.

It is annoying to have something stolen regardless of what it is. I've had alloy dust caps nicked and only get the plastic ones now. The alloy ones look nicer, so it's a shame you can't have them on your car. I'll remember to only complain when I get something big / expensive stolen.

P.S. God doesn't like us stealing off each other.

Our Jugular doesn't have tyre valves as such...they are flush fitting...therefore no valve caps and nothing to nick (except the car, wheels, bodykit etc )

Completely foxed Barney the Bodger when he went to check the tyre pressures

Don't laugh, it happens. But they tend to set the alarm off more than once.
