for that money it would pretty much have to be an import... probs looking around a 95 plate wrx. they are mint as standard cars and to get power out of one would be easy!

4 door silver with sly rear spoiler...standard small dark fat 5 spoke rims tweaked on some tein suspension... strut braces all round... decated/exhaust/remapped... will get you and easy 280 brake!! a new turbs and ur past the 300 mark. proper sleeper scooby that sounds raw!

check these babies

bit old maybe but defo the kinda look u might wanna consider...proper jap spec!

or this one...dont be afraid of ones with a little more mileage..provided they are in decent condition they'll keep going upto 200K (only prob with imports is the lack of service history...best to get it checked out by a proper mechanic or the AA)

again this one looks pretty clean but its hard to tell from the ad..it has new steering wheel and gear *** which always puts me off to be honest but it still looks ace.... just giving examples really. Cant harm to check them out.

this last one looks mint on the gold rims..might wanna double check how its been modded..if its had bits stuck on with no remap then either get it mapped quick or leave it..unless it has new ecu of course.

bearing in mind any import that hasnt been re-mapped will be designed to run on 100RON octane fuel (jap spec super unleaded) so its pretty essential to get it mapped to run on uk super unleaded ie 98RON shell optimax.

hope this helps!

p.s. i also think white scoobs on gold rims look the daddy!

Now that is service for you.

I have just ordered my car direct from japan. Hopefully save some money.

The first thing i am going to do is have it remapped. Its a 95 WRX 260ps. Its standard so a few mods will be made... Hopefully!

Your very welcome to make me an offer for my rather nice MY93 WRX-RA, however 4.5K won't get you a sniff at one of similar quality or pedigree....
