Cool Preaching to the converted

Hello all, I'm a newbie here and just wanted to say, "hi."

After reading and researching loads, I've just picked up my first Impreza, an 03 STi UK in black. Wow. I didn't drive it until today and oh. . .what a car. Since 3 this afternoon I've already used a full tank of fuel! scared myself twice and kicked the **** of a porker boxster.
Looking forward to many more posts and learning from all you knowledgeable lot out there.

No, just a normal one, still, I was pretty chuffed, guy in porka wasn't. girlfriend even less impressed! oh well. I'll have to have some work done before going "S" hunting.
Out of Interest there's a slight knoking noise coming from the back end, when changing speed. Something serious or just that ridiculous spoiler moving around?

Just up the road from me!! I live in Fareham have a 1994 WRX in white (work in progress - don't go there!)

I've heard that a few of new age Impreza's had some problems with the rear shocks. I know a guy that had to have them replaced under warranty. Give Len a call at Subaru 4 You (Newbury - 01635 35355) and he'll be able to sort you out. A bit of a drive but he is the best guy to use in the area. Might see you about!

Check out www.hampshiresubaru.co.uk. Lots of useful info and we have meets every second monday of the month. There's one on monday 10th Oct at the Kings Head in Wickham Square at 7:30pm I think. If you're not doing anything then pop down.
