Welcome

Yes, the whistling is perfectly normal. I can't advise you about it being 'lumpy' as I drive a Classic, but mine is nothing special at low revs.

Are you[b] always[b] using Super unleaded ?
Has it got a induction kit on it?
( Open the Bonnet and look on left had side is there a Black Airfilter box or an exposed Cone/Dome shaped filter? if not the Original Airbox could be the Induction kit making whisltling and rough Rev's IMHO)

Yes the turbo whistles. Yes they're lumpy at low revs, especially (surprise) when cold.
