Default S.E.C.S. and EGT

Has anyone sucessfully relocated the stock EGT probe from the factory up-pipe to the exhaust manifold? I'm going to replace my stock up-pipe with a catless one but would like to use the factory EGT probe so that it can be read by the ECU and displayed on the S.E.C.S.. Unfortunately, the S.E.C.S. doesn't allow for an external EGT sendor. Only, boost (if not read from ECU), oil temp and oil pressure.

I thought de-cat up pipes came with a boss to fit the OEM EGT sender so it should be a straight swap. AFAIK this was the case for my MY02 bugeye.

I removed my egt from the uppipe as they can break up apparently without the cat in place. I think H&S (maybe somebody elses) downpipes have a threaded hole for the EGT sensor. The one we fitted to my mates car did, and i'm sure he said it was a &S one
