Default Sikaflex / Bonding Seal questions

its for a roof-scoop (the one purchased from scoobyworld). Has anyone used Sikaflex to bond this part or any other external part to their car? How long does it take to dry?
Im a little reluctant in getting a hole drilled to the roof and would just like some advice on what to use

cheers

i *think* its about 1/2 hr before it STARTS to go off after this you wont what to be changing you mind on its position..!!

i suspect Phil is correct 24 hrs for fully cured bond - perhaps critical if there are stresses involved.

best see supplier - perhaps builders merchants - i used it on boats - so chandlery.

Cica flex, also Pur(i) flex, all the same thing. Comes in different colours.

I get mine from an auto paint supplier.

It starts to go off after 1/2 an hour. Full strength is achieved after 24 hours. After that, don't even think about trying to get it off

Oh, it'll stay on. Can't vouch for the whole roof if you get up enough speed though, those panels are PRETTY thin;(
