Use t-cut,its a compound sorta like a severe polish,that should take it out,then polish over with turtle wax or something.

Kevin look carefull at above post, he said touch it , not touch it up. Wax Wizard stuff is the dogs danglies when it comes to paintwork. What you don't want to do it use something as aggresive as T-Cut, nasty stuff

Kevin

Re-read the posts - nobody is suggesting that Sammy 'touch up' the scratch. The best advice has been given - speak to Mark Underwood aka The Wax Wizard. Mark's input on this site is well respected and he certainly knows what he is talking about.

My car is an MY00 DBM, so I know what they are like. After using the WW's cleaners and waxes, my car looks better than the day it left the dealer.

Just an irrelevant point of note to demonsrate yet another example of my retention of irrelevant facts ;

Sammyh, if 6SSK is your brother then he said you owned a RB5....they aint DBM are they?

My DMB MY99 car had a horrendous patch of scratches caused by a "friends" dog jumping on bonnet! I was on holiday at the time in Norfolk and took the car to a East Bilney Coachworks and they took the (fairly deep) scratches out in 10 minutes. The best thing about it was they did it for free!

If some body shops will do this I would suggest trying them before you have a go yourself - you might be pleasantly suprised like I was.
