Why strange? I'm sure his piccie was in the Banzai (or Jap cars) last month at the Mitsi club day at one of the racetracks.

You have a keen eye! I was indeed, I ran the Misubishi Lancer Register 30-130 day at Bruntingthorpe.

I've signed up as it seems worthwhile. It took 20 seconds and that's time well spent if it's going to cut my fuel bills. Come on folk, let's get this underway!

Sounds good idea BUT I have a few questions though;

If all the people are directed to one chain that you negotiate a discount with, where would you stand with Anti Competition laws?
Surely if a substantial amount of consumers are enticed towards one particular brand, the government will crack down on this due to unfair distribution of revenue.

I would be extremely wary of giving one company such a power with consumers. Although there is an immediate benefit at the pumps, what other areas would this impact upon. The environment? Fuel development? Research into alternatives?

I've posted a link on stirton.com to try to get this thing underway. It seems like a good plan but I do understand the concerns listed above.

This is really no different from Tesco giving you 5p/l off your fuel as far the law is concerned.
There is no issue with anti competition law, because you will not HAVE to but the fuel from the partnered ditsy.

Anti comp laws are based on lack of choice not prefered supplier.
