wish i could have both but money is tight at the min, ive spent hours looking at cars and i really do want a subaru but im not so sure, would be great but i dont want the engine going bang on me. ive looked at evo`s, subarus, vectra gsi`s, accord type r`s, and cosworths, i really am in love with scoobs hence recently joining the site but i just dont know what to do. so many storys of engine failures i would be ill if something like that happened to me, im just trying to gather as much info as poss.

thanks

Dude change oil every 5000 kms (sorry from australia not sure how many miles this is) warm her up then cool her down and you wont have a problem, sooby's engines are quite strong but anything that runs 14 psi standard needs to be looked after. If you can get one with a good service history, even better but dont discount it if someone does there own servicing (i know i do, the minor ones anyway). You wont regret your choice they are an awesome peice of machinery.

I'd by 20 B reg Fiestas - all with really bad rust, crap paint etc... and park them all in a row, then park my Impreza at the end and smile inwardly to myself.

Dont have any interior pics but its the std interior for that year + front buckets from subaru, they were fitted in 1997 along with PPP, prodrive springs & the old speedline alloys - receipts for over £3.5k for that lot!!
