To cut a long story short, I recieved a cheque from a Scoobynetter who purchased my copy of GTA San Andreas.

The game was posted off after a breakdown in communication between wifey and I - I thought she'd banked the cheque, she thought I was referring to a different cheque. In the meantime, under the assumption of "job done", I'd emptied out my PM box losing all communication details

Needless to say, in the confusion, the cheque has now been lost!

"Bargain!", I hear you say "Stupid s0d", you laugh.

I'm thinking the exact same.

HOWEVER, I'm appealing to the purchaser, I'm clutching at straws, but could you please get back in touch. Like I said, clutching at straws, but you never know - hopefully my faith in the human race will be vindicated!!!!

If you sold it via SN, did the buyer post a reply before he PM'd you..? Just a thought, but as you've said, unfortunately (and we've all done it) you lost the cheque..!

Did you send it recorded delivery?

If so, did you hold onto the receipt?

 

Good point; you must remember where in the country you sent it to.....

 

Are any of the pm's help in the background on record maybe Shaun could check your user profile if they are ?

 

The recorded delivery docket has been "filed" - I can't remember where I sent it, as I send quite a few packages each week

I've got a pretty good feeling that I'm going to have to put this one down to experience, BUT I thought I'd ask on here just in case.......
