well after a discussion earlier i thought i would start a thread just to say hi

the title brought on by a saying usually thrown about in the clinic by most people i know

a few people have had a lot to say recently and here is a little view point from little old me

some people like polished floors,
cleaner in every morning the smell of pledge
nice tidy racks,
leggy bimbo on the fones
comfy chairs
and a smiling suited salesman.......
(M&S) but this seems to equal
inflated prices
no personal touch
hidden extras
(obvoiusly it is only my point of view)
i mean it is nice but not all of us can afford this sort of comfort for the same (sometimes less) quality service in the garage area itself which to be brutally honest is where it counts !!!!

then u have
normal concrete floors
no maid ( smell of oil and work being done )
enough spares on hand new and second hand to get any 1 out of trouble
(they know where everything is (may not look pretty but hey))
and friendly specialists that just have enough time to chat to u and help u out with all ur needs between answerin the fones and getting there hands messy in an engine somewhere to get the car's out on time and a an amazin price
thats tesco's

people will know where i am talkin about

after a great drive through the derbyshire countryside (enough to test any 1's driving skilss and car to its limits (without breakin speed limits of course))
u take a a nice dip through a beautifull ford before arrivin at ur destination ..
nestled deep in the derby fells u dont stumble on this place out of chance .. u go for its reputation,countryside views and specialist help...
ur met by smiling but usually flustered staff that can not do enough for u
there suits hung up at home all lending a hand providing amazin service with no cost cutting in parts and service only in labour ...

yes the garage is not spot less but these things like polished floors and heating in a garage area for the specialists working on ur pride and joy all raise labour costs so they wrap up warm and get on with the job (cause they love it (well thats what they tell us ))

the newly erected hospitality suite with its comfy chairs and canteen area providing a 3 course meal ( at extra cost) special of the day includes

soup of the day
local steak surrounded by puff pastry
nut a la choco

and coffee and mints

entertainment system
tv
film viewing can be arranged if ur in for the long stay
is the best in a mile radius

i have been going for trips to this place now for sometime and have seen it go from big to massive always in demand and always willing to go out there way to help sometimes the price is higher than u expect but they bend over backwards to help u out if its a pocket killer but these things happen all you have to do is talk to them they are human after all .....
but imagine being in M&S and the bill being a bit more than u can afford
well i know its a bus fare home and come collect ur baby wen u have enough .............

well i like tesco and i know hundreds of others that will always walk straight passed M&S to get the best for the same .
its not all in the looks its the personality aswell !!!!!

so the moral of this story is
if u want M&S
go to M&S and pay ur inflated prices

but if u want good service great prices and all the same goods as M&S but not in a frilly polished office with ur smilin knife behind a desk then go shopping in TESCO

Well i haVE just picked up my car from the clinic which is described above after having a new turbo, water temp sensor, boost coils, and a lovely scooby ecu and map

and i have to say my drive home was great KEV thanks again for an amazing job done
it is all much appreciated ( god wheres spell check wen u need it )
