My Missus said the other night when the advert was on for this crap "that looks good doesn't it" my retort was "yes if you have no *****", to which she replied "you should like it then" so I ended up walking the dogs as I had, had enough of soaps and womens crappy programmes.

It amazes me how they have the audasity to whinge when top gear / 5th gear is on, God bless them fancy disrupting their viewing for a whole hour, I mean they could watch emmerdale, cori, eastbenders, cori - and then some slushy crap 2 part doco!!

We do not have ski multiroom and unfortunately we have only one 36" toshiba telly which is mine and continually clogged up with crap.

Just go to the next room, put on something with lots of bewbies in it and when she complains just say "I didn't think you'd mind since I have no *****"

Soaps are a great excuse to go onto the internet. If she complains that you're always on, you just say you're fed up of putting up with the crap that she watches which is always on. Worked for me

 

Same here. Then she complained I was always in another room so I got a laptop. I only watch 2 programmes evening time.

 

I think the x-box will be coming backout of retirement and hooked up to the old telly in the attic conversion, that way I can hide from the soap theme tunes and seasonal womens programmes that we get in-undated with during winter - either that or extend the boxer walks from 1 1/2 hrs to 3hrs that way I will miss it all.

Unfortunately my wifes wit is as quick as mine and I have yet to find anyone who is a reall match for her acid tongue - bless her shes great really I just wish she didn't sucked into all the soaps and "other" rubbish on telly.
