Default Some buying advice please......

Looking to spend 10K maximum (prefer 8ish).

Looking for some suggestions.

Have owned MY97 WRX & P1 in the past but have been sampling other cars for a few years now....looking to get back into a scoob.

Was perhaps thinking of a MY00 for £8ish and then doing some upgrades perhaps....

Anyone done a similar thing? Anyone selling?

Thanks

If it helps with pricing the market - Just sold my MY00 DBM 4 door. 59k 2 owners from new. PPP FSSH mint and un-meddled with. In Autotrader for 7k and got 6,850 for it.

Had 5 calls from website alone - sold before it went into print. It was either in demand or under priced .....but I think I got a fair deal.

I've been offered £7950 for DBM 00MY Wagon 40k against £13995 53 WRX SL without any haggling. Dealer says he can't get enough clean cars in p ex.
