Talking Subaru Warranty Question............

Hi,

I have a 05MY UK WRX With full UK warranty and free servicing and I have seen for sale on Flea bay
a sports cat replacement for £199 which claims to free up 20BHP extra !!

Firstly does anyone know where you stand on screwing your warranty up by replacing the cat with this sports cat ??
I would hate to invalidate my warranty for the sake of £199

On the description of the part on flea bay it says its a Prodrive sports cat so part of me is thinking can they invalidate the warranty for such a part ??

Also will a sports cat actually free up that sort of power ?? And will the noise levels of the exhaust increase much ??

Any advice would be great

Cheers
Mark

I would guess that if you dont buy it from subaru and get it fitted by subaru then you will no longer have a subaru warranty. Its not worth the hassle mate, save up ang get the Prodrive Performance Pack (ppp)

if u are worried about losing your warranty then ppp is the only option, and you will get a new cat and ecu to match
