Had a big plastic thing on the roof with a big red L on it...
Think it was there so you couldent do more than 55 mph!

E reg Metro, BSm had reasonably nice colours Red, White & Blue. What did I learn in the only beige one I think BSM ever bought.

I learnt to drive in a 309gti! but took my test in a Metro (well a rover 100 actually) <alan partridge mode> Lynn I am not driving a mini metro </alan partridge mode>
My mate took his test in a Defender 90 V8! - guy asked him to turn it round in the road expecting a three pointer but he did it in one
