Brothers car
Standard 97 Impreza 5DR (211bhp)
17" wheels on Pirelli PZeros tyres
Avo springs, with height adjusters, compression damping and rebound damping.
250 pound springs front
200 pound springs back
In his words his own Koni modified Cavaliers, which he had 3, were more driveable then this.
Bigest waist of money he has every spent! Wished he had put the extra money on a Evo6, or even a lotus elise.
So what car do you drive Mr Leigh? Is it standard?

I'm surprised we haven't had any more comments from people like Jason M!
The amount of times I have let some mad boy racer overtake me along some dangerous country roads or declined the challenge of some souped up Nova on the roads, believes me to think that if Jason M was driving those cars, we would have even more threads all about it.
"My Nova is better than an Impreza cos I blew it away at the traffic lights"
"Or those Impreza's are crap cos my xr2i flew past one at 100mph around the country roads where I live.
Jason, if your brother does not like his car, tell him to get rid of it. I am sure it will find a more deserving owner. And will you stop going on about the Impreza driver you left standing. He probably just backed off and said "Go on you idiot, if you crash, don't expect me to pick up the pieces!!"
Another sobering thought to aid you in your driving skills, I have a young family, a 7 year old girl and a 1 year old baby daughter. Most of the time, they are in the back of my Impreza. When they are not, I drive my car as if they were!!
I suggest you do the same and SHUT UP about your driving skills until you have them!!!!!!

Paul P,
I agree with you entirely, I have two boys, one three and one 10 months, both of which are always in the back of my P1. I have had plenty Cavalier GSI's and modified run of the mill stuff trying to have a go, I just simply slow a little and let them go by and watch them snigger as they pass.
Jason M, can we call it halt! ...the Cavalier may be a good car but it certainly is not a performance car and never will be......

The best thing your brother can do is get the suspension set up properly.
I know a guy who bought a fully adjustable shock and WSB forks for his bike. He didn't really know what he was doing and made the bike handle worse than it did on standard suspension.
Anyway can we drop the subject? Handling is very subjective. One man's rubbish is another mans dinner, and other such stupid sayings.
