Can someone tell me the differences between the 2002 'bug eye' and the 2003 'blob eye'. I looking specifically at a standard 4 or 5 door WRX.

Starters:
Different front end: lights, grille, bonnet,bumper and minor interior tweaks.Different seat fabric and trim around the dashboard and stereo.Rev counter re located to centre of binnacle. Different steering wheel. Different front shocks. Few more bhp in Blobeye (225 v 218)

 

I think the seats are different too, the blobeye ( UK models ) lost the hump at the front of the seat, only available on EU imprts and STI's but I think the bug eye still had them.

Also the rear lights were changed too.

 

Blob eye had fatboys seats, Bugeyes have the same as STI but in black and charcoal
