Legacy 2.0GL,1992,48,000 miles,full service history,bodywork okish prior to stolen damage,interior immaculate....been offered £800 by insurance....I borrowed the car to go away on hols so its on my insurance so not sure of value.Is £800 reasonable?

they'll have given you a figure based on glass's guide and soubt they'll move unless somthing makes em, best bet ask for £1500 and then meet them on middle.

only got so much for my old impreza cos it was a series mcrae and glass's have no value for it

 

Average mileage for a car of your age would be 156k. 112k less than that should add to the value. Value your car on Parkers guide at both mileages and add the better value to your best offer. Make sure you let the assessor know how much better than an equivalent car id by showing receipts etc. Good luck
