Just saw these kits for £550 on www.flatfouronline.co.uk
What exactly do these kits do?
I take it they actually need to be mapped when installed in the car? And how much does this cost?
Can they monitor knocklink?

Its a "plug and play" ecu mate and will have a base map for the car. However would highly recommend Andy Forrest to "map" it. He supplied and fitted mine for £800.00 or so. The single best mod I did to my classic.

Edited to add that I have just seen your user name so Andy may not be an option?

Im moving abck to the UK in 2 weeks. Had the Scoob flown back 3 weeks ago.
I've booked my car in with Andy F. for a fuel re-map for Optimax which is £500+VAT. But have just seen these APEXI FC kits for £550. Is that a good price for them?
I wonder how much Andy would charge to map it if I got one?

Mapping will be a few hundred quid mate but I'd prefer to pay that bit extra to have Andy supply fit and map it at the same time then you know its right. No wrong model; everything working right etc.

Check the Scoobyshop out. Andy has advertised his Apexi deal on there and offers a discounted price for Scooby members.

Believe me mate the results are fantastic. I specifically requested low/ mid range power. Simply brilliant!
